Signing In and Signing Out
Each child must be signed in when arriving at school and signed out when departing. Parents are hereby informed that the sign/in/out form is a legal document, and state regulations require a full signature. Initials are not acceptable.
Parents who are unable to call for their children by the contracted departure time must arrange for someone else to pick them up. The names of individuals authorized to take a child from the school must be listed on the Pupil Emergency Form. Parents who want their children to leave with a previously unauthorized person must inform the teacher or the director, preferably in writing, and must state the departure time, give a description of the individual and inform him or her to be prepared to show identification.
NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL WITH AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON.
Children will be expected to attend the program in accordance with the time designated in their contractual agreement. We are, however, very flexible and we intend to meet parents’ needs. Thus parents may request and be granted a change in contract hours whenever they wish. Otherwise, no fee adjustments can be made for absences.
Occasionally a child may have behavioral or other problems which are beyond the scope of the school or a regular group setting and he or she may be deemed to be inappropriately placed. A child who consistently exhibits behaviors which are inimical to the welfare of the group or to any individual in the group and who does not respond to normal corrective measures will be dropped and the contract will be terminated. Parents who wish assistance will be given referral information and guided toward finding appropriate placement for the child.
